Towards the end of the unit, I gave this test to my Year 11 students, They have used the holiday outline I gave them before. They found it easy to follow the outline and use their own ideas using also the Arabic dictionaries.
Students are finding writing in Arabic quite hard. This is why I made this holiday outline to give them an idea on how to start their senteces, what tense to use in each stage of their writng and how to conclude their article.
As students always forget the main phrases they need to write about their holidays, I thought it would be a good idea to give them a vocabulary sheet first. Then test them on the same vocab. They have to write the answers in Arabic.
This is A PowerPoint presentation about the New GCSE Specification for Arabic. It is mainly made with reference to Edexcel website and the Arabic GCSE new specification. It will help teachers to use it to introduce students to the requirements of the new GCSE Arabic.
